Lenton village is ideally placed between the University of Nottingham Campus and Nottingham City, with its famous nightlife.

The area comprises mainly of large Victorian villa and terraced homes, set along wide tree lined boulevards, and the area has long been a favourite student haunt. Recent additions include several cool student bars like the bag o nails and the Dog and Topper, plus a new Sainsburys supermarket, Blockbuster, Bargain Booze.

There are also many takeaways serving fast hot food, several good restaurants and a central Post Office and launderette.

The beautifully refurbished Grove pub is a favourite student venue, serving well-kept real ales and guest beers. Lenton is only a few minutes walk from campus, even quicker by bike.
